A Proper Pickle

Today I’m in a quandary

Proper pickle of dilemma

Like plotting literary course

In absence of a stemma

To be or not to be I say

William’s age old question

Set sail upon the sea of mirth

Or strike the path of Hessian

Woke the morn with steel resolve

No daily post for me

Lustrous prose complexly rich

Ripe hanging from my tree

Strike the stance of Hemingway

Dance the path of Cummings

Weigh the two and make a stew

And mind the gears from gumming

About Phil

Hi, my name is Phil. I’ve managed to escape the corporate world, rid myself of excess belongings, travel the country extensively in my old Winnebago, and find a new home on a beautiful barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico. I define myself as: a free spirit, a writer, a philosophical anarchist, a poet; a lover of nature, a lover of art, a protector of animals, as well as a devoted friend and partner
